Homeopathy from Greek Homeo – meaning same Pathos – meaning suffering is an alternative method of treatment that is based on the concept that substances that produce symptoms of illness in healthy individuals can cure a sick person exhibiting the same symptoms if given in very diluted and small doses. Like many alternative methods, homeopathy is believed to encourage the body to heal itself.
