Wellness is the condition of good physical and mental health; this is maintained by becoming aware of choices and making decisions toward a more balanced life, and utilizing proper diet, exercise, and habits to reach that goal. Prevention is any activity which you can do to reduce the chance of getting sick. There are three different levels of prevention. Primary Prevention aims at avoiding the development of the disease. Health promotion is the process which strives to achieve that goal. Secondary Prevention focuses on early disease detection and prevention of spread and worsening of the disease. Tertiary Prevention aims at minimizing complications of an already existing disease.
